The most delicious sushi so far! Free miso soup while sushi is getting prepared, cozy interior with wooden utensils, just 2 tables, silence, harmony!

I'm not a huge fan of Ramen but their ramen was pretty good. Sashimi, nigiri and rolls were all fresh and tasty and we liked the unlimited serve-yourself Miso soup too. Real hidden gem in Rothenberg.

Helt OK lunch. Har ätit både bättre och sämre bowls. För 129kr ganska lite mat och väldigt lite lax. Mison var god.

If you are in Gothenburg you should try this place. It is a tiny traditional Japanese restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. The two ladies who work there are super friendly and attentive. We had jasmine tea to drink which was great and we didn‘t even need to ask for our waitress to refill the tea water. The food was delicious as well. We ordered the salmon, veggie and tempura bowls and for sushi we had the grilled salmon nigiri and the classic tempura roll. The quality of the food was amazing and the ingredients were fresh and very tasteful. I loved the overall experience and I will definitely come back.

Really cozy sushi place near the Haga area! I always feel that sushi is a must try in the Nordic countries because their seafood is so fresh and this quaint Japanese restaurant didn’t disappoint!!Usually I’m not a huge fan of tuna sashimi but their tuna was not fishy at all!! So definitely try their sashimi :) This restaurant also has a self-serve of miso soup with the available toppings of seaweed and spring onions. However, there’s quite limited seating so I’d strongly advise making a reservation before making the trip

AKAI KOI SUSHI
A cozy 12-seating sushi restaurant with minimal and curated decor. Kind and attentive service. We ordered a variety of dishes like chirashi, sushi and nigiri and they were all delicious, fresh and crafted with care. Really like the idea of all-you-can-have miso soup pot when you can just go to refill. Would definitely come back to visit again!
