Budget Biluthyrning Göteborg City

Picking up the rental from Budget Södra Vägen was straightforward and an easy experience. I was greeted by polite and helpful staff, extremely happy to found out I’ve been upgraded from a compact Seat to a compact suv (Opel Grandland) This car was a dream to drive, lots of room for the kids in the back and fab sound system that made everyone smile.I had decided to rent the car from Budget in the center of Gothenburg as the price of pick up the car from the airport when we landed was £250 more expensive!! Instead I booked a Minitaxi from the airport costing £83 and the next morning we had a trip into Gothenburg and picked up the car during the day.It was super easy to return the rental to Gothenburg airport, at the time of our flight the office was closed so we just posted the key through a keyhole.The only unfortunately part was not being able to login to the local charging stations, I do wish the staff would have explained how to do this as we continuously was denied to use them when trying to pay on the difference apps available in both Gothenburg and Örebro.Apart from this I will happily recommend and definitely use Budget in Gothenburg again.

Omöjligt att få kontakt med någon på kundtjänst vilket är det ända sätter att nå dem. Ringde flera gånger utan att komma fram, stod i kö i 2 timmar som längst utan svar. Fick första kontakten på mail efter 5 veckor. Totalt oseriöst företag!

Ärligt talat, sämst! Finns inget sätt att kontakta dem utan att stå i 1-2 timmars telefonkö. Jag menar på riktigt 0. Inga sätt. Inget formulär på hemsidan, ingen mailadress. Och telefontid 8-18 vardagar. Om man flyger över en helg och något strular så går de inte att nå. Och i efterförloppet inget sätt om man inte vill spendera ett par timmar av sin semester i telefonkö. Antar att det fungerar ok om inget krånglar. Svårt att förstå de andra positiva recensionerna annars...Tillägg; se svar nedan, detta är på fullt allvar ett ganska tydligt exempel på problemet! Det finns alltså inget sätt att nå detta företag på ett seriöst sätt. Jag har INTE Facebook etc, menar ni på allvar att ni inte går att kontakta utan sociala medier? Är det er uppfattning om service?

Deeply disappointed in Budget Car Rental on Södra Vägen following two bad experiences. Most recently and after having booked and pre-paid a car for pick up at 13:00 on day X, I arrive at Södra vägen 23 only to be told the car I booked and pre-paid was given to another customer as I didn't show up at 13:00 to pick up my pre-paid car. (I showed up at 15:00). As I explained I had tried to call but couldn't get through, I was told it is normal. The phone was indeed very busy certain days. Upon questioning why I had not been called by the agency itself to inquire whether I was planning on coming to pick up the car or not, I was told it is not possible when there is a customer rush to do so. The station was going to compensate" me with another car however to replace my "pre-paid" car rental. A mini-bus with a 9 passenger seats! The previous time I had booked at Budget Södra vägen and also pre-paid the car they insisted on seeing my passport which I didn't not have on me at the time as a Swedish drivers license normally suffices. The fact that I had my two year old toddler with me didn't help. They insisted I go back home to fetch the passport if I was to have the car (they wouldn't even accept an electronic copy). Zero service orientation for Budget Södra Vägen. I will definitely be renting a car somewhere else whenever I need to from now."
