The best bass luthier in the world, according to me!

The best.Christian has restored one bass for me (major surgery, incl. new truss rod, fretboard etc.) and done mods, set ups- and electronic work on several other instruments of mine (basses and guitars).The craftmanship is outstandingVery meticulous and neat-looking work, and set-ups are by far the best I've seen.I unfortunately don't own one of his instruments, but they are very, very good: super thought through, well made and versatile.

Owning 2 vastly different Unicorn basses, played over a dosen others and having Christian service and rebuild several other of my other basses, all I can say is he´s one of a kind.There is no job he can´t tackle. His understanding of the instruments and skill as a craftsman shines through in both his own basses and the work he does when service other makers.There are no compromizes to the attention to detail, the choice of wood and tailoring the instruments to your needs, demands and wishes.You only need to understand what you really want from your instrument.And he will help you with that as well.He ain´t cheap and he shouldn´t be. Quality costs and that´s the end of that.Highly recommended!

Efter ca 15 år med denna skönhet så var det dags för uppdatering. Efter samtal med Christian så kom vi överens om att att byte av preamp var första steg. Efter detta ingrepp fick jag helt plötsligt en helt ny bas, helt nya register och dynamik. Fick mersmak och bytte precis micar och är helt överlycklig :-) En bas som aldrig kommer lämna mina händer.Så grymt nöjd med kvalitet, service, gott kaffe, outtömlig kunskap, goa snack som Mr Christian Unicorn" levererar. Kan inte nog rekommendera Unicorn bass upplevelsen till alla bassister där ute."
