Borstmuseum

Knowing that my great grandfather was born in Onslunda, I reached out to the museum to inquire if they would have any information that would be helpful in finding the farm plot that they lived on or if any relatives we’re still living in the town They were amazing. They found lots of information about our family including cemetery plots. They also found a newspaper article featuring my great great grandmother when she turned 100 and translated it for me. They were so kind, so helpful it was truly the highlight of my trip. I learned a great deal from the museum of Swedish traditions and how they lived in the past and what it must’ve been like for my great great grandmother.
