Free admission all days except Mondays.. Toilets in all the floors.. Affordable Cafe and gift section.. Right outside Slussen Metro/T-Bana station.. Facilities include Cloak room with locker and place to keep your Umbrellas.. There's also a Research Library about the history of Stockholm city mostly in Swedish but in some parts English..

Interesting museum, good gift shop. I liked the information and the interaction. Not very long. One of the good museums in Stockholm - if you want to visit Nordska Museum, visit this one instead!

Hit ska ni gå, här upplever man historien genom montrarna som har kluriga lösningar och allt känns nytänk i presentationerna. MEN om man använder sig av audio guiden får man bara ha fokus på utställningarna och inte använda telefonen till fotografering. Uppläsningen var bra och gav ett större gjup till utställningarna. Vi blev inte klara på 1.5 timme så vi får gå tillbaka men det är ju inga problem då det är gratis inträde

Situated just next to Slussen metro and train station this museum has a free entry. It is a very nice place to have all the knowledge regarding Stockholm City. The museum covers city's history from 9th century to the modern time. Whole timeline is divided in 3 parts and 3 floors of the museum. They have a very collection of photographs also. Old historic items along with the dresses from that time are also here. Overall the museum covers the living situation of its citizens for 1200 years and does an excellent job at it. I really liked visiting here.

Pleasant museum. Entrance is still free. There is a small cinema hall. The halls correspond to the time intervals. There is enough space in the cafe.

En av de finaste musei upplevelser jag haft. Spännande innehåll, snygg presentation, både innehåll pedagogik och ljus sättning. Bra tänkt med hållbara saker för de mindre att leka med. Shoppen var toppen, med fokus på ljust Stockholm, och fina faciliteter. Att betyget inte blir en femma beror på Audio guiden, innehållet var toppen och en stor anledning till att upplevelsen blev så bra. Men den byggde på gammal teknik som gjorde att man inte kunde släcka skärmen och stoppa ner telefon, eller ta en bild samtidigt som man lyssnade.

For a start, it's FREE! This is a great option for visitors to Stockholm and residents, particularly in the current day and age of high costs of living.Friendly staff at reception, who are very helpful, is a second positive.The museum has lots on offer, in terms of history of the city over the past few hundred years. Very well illustrated with displays and not overwhelming with text. Perfect for the end of the day (bonus is that it's open till 8pm on a Tuesday).

Bra sätt att få en inblick i Stockholms historia. Rekommenderas varmt. Väldigt god lunch med hembakat bröd och röror.
