Glamping Högakusten

We had a wonderful time at Glamping Höga kusten again. After we already had a couple of winter vacations in Sweden, we enjoyed the winter wonder week at Glamping Höga kusten last February. We now really wanted to go to Sweden in the summer. Fortunately that was still possible and half August we went from the Netherlands via the bridges to Sweden. In the summer it is also fantastic here. Marco and Nicole were very hospitable again, we had great walks in the area and near the high coast and enjoyed the meals in the grill hut. What a great little paradise they have made of this place. Lovely place to combine relaxing with outdoor activities. We actually wanted to go mountain biking or use the paddle boards on a lake for a day, but we ran out of time. As close to Swedish nature and as comfortable as it can get.We have planned travelling with kids (10 and 12 years old) to Höga Kusten for hiking tours, fishing and camping. Never tried camping before and felt very lucky to come across Fields Sweden / Glamping Högakusten site. After reading the very inviting and personal story behind we have decided to give it a try - we have booked “Comfort in the forest” 2 days package. Besides very high expectations we were literally blown away by the beauty of the location, the actual camping site and it’s surroundings. And most of all by the hospitality of Marco & Nicole’s family.Our personal favourites at the Glamping Högakusten:- Cosy evenings at the fire place- Hot tub (needs time)- Visiting Marco & Nicole’s family farm- Exploring the nearby forests and lakes and especially the elk safari and late dinner (no elks, just pancakes :) at the beautiful lake side.- Fishing in the flood behind the camping and at ÄngermanälvenLeft for the next time:- Boat tripRecommendation:- Have a sleeping bag with you. The nights in the tipi were comfy, but it could get cold late in the night.Thank you Macro & Nicole, Sterre & Yara!We will definitely come and visit you again!

Vi har haft en fantastisk vistelse här i två nätter med god mat, bad i vattenfall och härlig natur! Sängarna i tältet var sköna och varma och värdparet var otroligt välkomnande och trevliga. Vi har passat på att vandra i höga kusten och besöka high coast distillery som ligger i närheten, mycket trevligt! Allt som allt en fantastisk plats som vi gärna kommer besöka igen!Tack för en fin vistelse!

An oasis in the middle of the country side with the benefits of being close to a World's Heritage park! We just came back from two days staying with Fields Sweden and we have to say that our experience was great not only due to the comfort of their Glamping" but also because of the enourmous warmth we felt while staying with Nicole & Marco. They made us feel like we were visiting friends while still keeping our privacy in our camping site. We will sure be back to enjoy more of this experience!"

Vi hade glamping vid High Coast Distillery. För den som uppskattar eller är nyfiken på whisky från Sverige kan jag starkt rekommendera detta.Trevligt bemötande, god mat och intressant information och provsmakning av whisky till ett överkomligt pris.

Mycket trevligt värdpar. Naturskön omgivning. Vi var där under vintern och bara det var en upplevelse i sig.

Var väldigt fina tält och jätte trevlig personal som hade hand om Glamping.Mat, whiskyprovning och rundtur var jättebra på destilleriet High Coast.

Sköna täcken och sängar. Härlig utsikt över ångermanälven. God mat och intressanta whisky provningar

What a fantastic winter experience we Juanes just had at Glamping Högberg Kusten! The tents are well fitted and the location is fab, we missed out on seeing reindeer, moose and the northern lights but that didn’t deter from how much we enjoyed our stay! The sauna was a welcome activity at the end of the winter days to warm up. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and we were lucky enough to borrow both snow shoes and cross country skies.Cannot recommend this place enough!
