Skatteverket

Had a few issues in the past with Skatteverket as a whole. However, this place isn't usually too busy. There is sometimes a small queue to get your ticket number and then there is about a 20-30 minute wait until you are seen.

Its not the location’s fault itself but skatteverket needs to clearly state in its text messages and opening hours that even though opening hours are until 16:00, they can stop you from going in as early as 15:00 saying that there already are many people inside. I was sent a message to collect my ID before 16:00.. you cannot book an appointment to collect an Id.. and I went there at 15:10 only to be told to come back or wait outside and I ‘might’ get a chance. So I waited because coming back was very very inconvenient. I waited outside standing for almost an hour, 39 weeks pregnant. I know I chose to stand but there is no option for someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, needs an ID for hospital matters, lives far away from the only 1 skatteverket office in the entire city, and no one can collect the id on their behalf..including spouse. I expect atleast a little empathy from the city I pay almost half my salary to in the form of taxes.

Man spenderar multum för att bygga upp en helt ny kontorsbyggnad mitt i City åt skatteverket, intill centralstationen. Men servicekontoret förpassar man till industriområdets ytterområden. De har en kassa öppen som ska hantera arbetsförmedlingens, skatteverkets, försäkringskassans och pensionsmyndighetens ärenden. Ett nummer per tio minuter hanteras, och kontoret är fullproppat med människor.Snälla sig mig hur man har valt att prioritera resurserna? I Sveriges fjärde största stad!Nån slags koordinator måste ha drabbats av tarmvred i hjärnan.Personalen var iaf trevlig.

Hillarious! Being American I know all about waiting in lines. Say what you want about endless queues. I went to Skatteverket Uppsala and was in and out in 15 minutes to apply for my personnummer.When you show up 13-14:00 and they close at 16:00, it's probably nothing compared to an American DMV office.... you won't get in, and they will not stay open for you. The workers there have lives and families too.

Clearly they are short of staff when waiting time for a call is 40+ mins!Clearly they are short of staff when processing a personal number application takes more than 2 months!Instead of wasting money on royalty, it can be used to staff up Skatteverket, just saying!

Good. Even has people who help everyone who enters to find what they are looking for. It's helpful, it has space and they are well organized. They have computers in case you need to use them. Very impressive for a gov agency.

Terrible service. Waiting over 40 mins. Whilst three staff are just sitting at the door doing absolutely nothing. I would expect a government office to be more efficient.

Skatteverk is a true expert in making simple things complicated. Nothing just works here. Instead you get dozends of numbers whose only purpose is to get more numbers. At least the people are friendly, but the system is a disgrace.

Really bad experience! Came here to request personnumer 5 months ago and i am still waiting while all my colleagues that did it after me they received it in 2 weeks or 1 month. I tried contacting them to ask to speed up the things as my job company needs it and for some reason it is needed to have ID card and BANK ID and their answer was that they don't prioritize applications and they are working on application submitted before mine which basically is a lie because my colleagues did it after me and received it before me. Don't recommend this place. I'll go to police to report the situation
