Pitea Sleddog Tours

One of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The people are super kind and really took their time for us. The daughter even baked us delicious brownies. They really care for the dogs and their living conditions, which shows in the dogs their behaviour as well. The dogs were super cuddly and kind but when it came down to work they went for it with full enthousiasm. A place like this is a much better way to experience dog sledding than the overly touristic organisations. A good activity for young and old since they adjust the speed of the dogs according to your liking. Beautiful environment to enjoy was a nice bonus and they provide a location to take pictures with them, this might be a bonus for some people as well :)

Had a great time with my wife, definitely a must-do activity if you're in the area. Recommend the night tour, we were unlucky with lack of aurora but it was still worth it. Riding in the dead silent woods was awesome The hosts are great!

A fantastic place to do a dog sled tour. Each dog is hand raised by Daniel and Katarina and I recommend taking the time after the tour to learn about the dogs and their dog sled racing they do. Located in a stunning area where you will feeling like your spending time with friends.

We loved our sled dog tour with Daniel and Katarina! Incredibly nice people and the same goes for the dogs. We enjoyed a fika around the fire after the sled dog tour hearing them talking about their passion, with all the dogs coming seeing us to welcome us, have hugs and give us lots of kisses! We had a great time and I am pretty sure it is the best place and the greatest value you can find in the region. Thank you again Katarina and Daniel!

Very lovely family business, the owners have a real passion for their dogs and take care of them very well. The private dogsled tour was awesome, we went up and down a hill and on a frozen lake. We could indicate if we were comfortable with going faster or not. Afterwards we could chill by the fire and play with the dogs. We got homemade brownies and drinks. We definitely recommend this experience!

I had an amazing experience I highly recommend this tour !The owners were so friendly and nice, as well as the adorable dogs. It was a really beautiful tour and I fell in love with all the dogs, so fluffy and cute, I could pet them for hours.They really take time to talk to you about the dogs while drinking hot tea next to a fireplace and petting the dogs.

We had an amazing experience with Katarina, her husband and their 26 huskies during our recent trip to Piteå! The dog sledding tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. The dogs were incredibly friendly and well taken care of, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the entire tour. We appreciated the attention to detail and the passion for the dogs and the environment that was evident throughout the experience.
