A very nice and good selection of wines but the prices are really high. Half a glass is almost the price of a full glass in a pub. You get quality wine for sure though, although some wines are probably way too expensive.

We booked for a group of 7 and ordered a variety of meals and wine.The place is fairly small so seating limited but there is some outside seating for warmer days. It has a nice ambience for a wine bar.Lady explained the wine list to us, and was very helpful in guiding on choices. The wines are from Georgia or Armenia and focused on more traditional ways of wine making… loved the story behind it and the wine lovers were pretty happy with the choices!Most of the food is tapas style, so small portions. There’s a mix of cuisine but quite a big selection of Iran food.I didn’t think the Iranian dishes were amazing, they were ok. The pizza on the other hand, was pretty good and if you’re hungry- opt for that as it’s the only dish that is not tapas style.Overall pretty good, I’d give it a 3.5* , wine was fab and so was the ambience, but the food was not all that brilliant.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Amfora Vinbaren in Stockholm. It’s a little bit out of the way of the main tourist area, but it’s certainly worth the extra few minutes walk.The restaurant was very tastefully decorated, and after a warm welcome we sat down and had the concept explained to us. It’s a small plates restaurant with smaller dishes designed to share. They also specialise in a variety of different and unusual wines that are made in Amfora (hence the name).We opted for some beers as it was a very warm evening and we were wanting something a bit more refreshing. For food, we settled on the Cheese and Charcuterie Board and two of their Pizzas. The Charcuterie Board was one of the most delicious and inventive that I’ve had outside of Italy, it was an absolute delight. The Pizzas were also fantastic, light, crispy and utterly delicious. The sauce on the Pizza had a subtle sweetness possibly from Sundried Tomatoes, and it was unbelievably good.The service was at the perfect pace, and was always very friendly too. If you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere in Stockholm, Amfora Vinbaren should 100% be on your list of places to visit.

Personalen var supertrevlig och maten var ok, hoppades på mera kryddor.Det är dock väldigt saftigt att ta 169 kr för ett glas vin.

Gemytlig och hemtrevligt! Maten smakade gott men saknade salt å pepparkvarn på borden. Personlig service och bra priser (Fork). Dock lite osynk mellan mat och vinservering.Summa summarum: Hit går vi gärna igen! :)
