First, give the front desk person, Sara, a raise. She was extremely kind and helpful. I asked her many annoying questions and she was perfect. The hotel is perfectly located. Fantastic little outdoor area and DJ was knocking out some jams. Inside the room was okay. The interior design was a little much. Some things need to be updated like bidets should be installed in the bathroom. Also, the comforter is not big enough for the bed with 2 people in it. Also, the maid entered even with the Do not enter" sign was on the door handle. That was weird. The breakfast was good but not great. All in all

Every time I come to Stockholm, I must have a meal at Lydmar. This time it was dinner. I just love coming here. The way you are greeted, the good service, the excellent vine and food. Just a perfect experience as always. All the best Tom

Oerhört besviken på både mat och service. Efter besöket reflekterade vi om det var någon skillnad på maten gentemot Scandic Västerås vi besökte för några år sedan. Sen att bli snäst åt av servitrisen när vi firade min mors födelsedag gjorde inte saken bättre.

Käkade middag på terassen. Smakrik kyckling, gott, men för 325kr kunde man kostat på sig ett par potatisar på tallriken?Stolarna var absolut under all kritik, förväntar mig ett ryggstöd när jag går på restaurang, inte en järnpinne.Dem gamla fläskiga disco högtalarna förstör det estetiska intrycket som annars känns genomfört.

We couldn't decide between staying at The Lydmar and the Grand Hotel next door, so we chose both for 3 nights apiece. They are literally next door to one another and share an incredible location with harbor views. We learned that both hotels share the same owner. The Lydmar is definitely the young, hip, artsy sister to the Grand.The room was cozy and on the smaller side (we booked the entry-level price room), but still very well-appointed and comfortable, full of fun and funky art. The staff here really shines. They are fun friendly and professional. The lobby bar and restaurant are bustling and offer delicious food and cocktails. The breakfast buffet in the morning is wonderful, with a HUGE selection of hot and cold items, and the staff makes wonderful coffees. If you are looking for a younger, hipper scene, this is the place to stay!

We only went in for a drink but the staff were really friendly and helpful.A small selection of drinks and some good local beers.Good atmosphere, with some nice artwork on the walls.Dinning is available.

Recension för uteserveringen/baren:Vi gick hit efter jobbet och hittade en bra plats under markisen (väldigt varm och solig dag). Vi var nöjda i skuggan och uteserveringen ligger på ett väldigt trevligt ställe vid vattnet vilket är såklart stort plus.Vi blev dock väldigt besvikna när de bestämde sig för att dra undan markisen så att alla satt i stekande sol och de höjde musiken så att det inte gick att prata. Vi var nöjda med musiken i en nivå där man åtminstone kan höra varandra. Detta är inget club/dans-ställe, utan mer ett lounge-, chill-ställe så vi förstod inre varför de var tvungna att ha musiken på en så hög volym. Vi bad om att sänka bara litegrann, men vi tror att de istället höjde.Vi drack upp det vi hade i glasen och gick därifrån.

A wonderful oasis in Stockholm - With spacious rooms, a homey atmosphere, charming spaces, and top-notch service, this boutique hotel has everything you need to enjoy a stay in the city.The delicious breakfast buffet is included every morning, and the rooms are always freshened up promptly in the morning. On sunny days, the front patio is full of people soaking up warm weather and having afternoon drinks. In the evening, the bar has great vibes and the cocktails are delicious. The views from the rooms are spectacular, and the neighborhood offers easy access to all major tourist destinations. A huge thank you to the team at Lydmar for making our stay exceptional and giving us the feeling that we had a home away from home for a few days. We hope to come back soon!
