Isbrytaren Sankt Erik

First off, it is fantastic. The second is that admission is free. There are two ships available for visitation. You may view all of their rooms, the caption's room, the kitchen, the anchor room, and other locations. Having a detailed look at all these locations is pretty amazing. You may tour the larger ship, Sankt Erik, and take a look inside its huge engine room to view everything in detail. Seeing every part of the ships in detail was a very enjoyable experience.

A worthwhile little museum where you could easily spend 30 mins to one hour.Free admission and as I understood it they also offer free guided tours on request. No cafeteria but they have bathrooms on the ship.

Trevligt att gå runt på det gamla skeppet. Mycket att titta på, och härlig känsla i de tidstypiska detaljerna.

Superb find via Google maps, it's free, super interesting and well kept. We visited the ice breaker and the lighthouse boat. Make sure to visit the top of the light house on the light house boat, legend has it that if you tap the bulb three times you can hear the ghost of the first mate who sadly passed on the last voyage. We did so and heard a noise but it may have been from a fellow visitor, spooky anyways! Top work from the team, really enjoyed the vessels and they are well kept and the photos of the crew on the vessels add to their history.

Stumbled upon this whilst walking around Djurgarden. Glad we stopped. There is a lightship and an icebreaker which you can wander on to freely to look around. The lightship is preserved as a museum but has been really well dressed with personal effects in the cabins and tapes of conversations and radio calls going on. There's good information on where it was used and the people who worked on it.The ship is beautifully presented so I think anyone would enjoy a few minutes on it.The Sankt Erik is a seriously impressive icebreaker (its strikingly wide). If you have any oil or steam in your veins you’ll love being able to wander around the engine room. In there you’ll find apparently the most powerful maritime steam engine (2800 hp from 3 cylinders!). Best of all... this and the rest of the ship are still operational. So the engine room has plenty of oily bits and rags about.Limited access if you are not very mobile due to ladder access and steps. The pier is accessible and still with stopping by to see the ships if you're nearby (it's near Vasa and Abba museums).

Missa inte ett besök på detta fantastiska fartyg. Skicket är otroligt. En åktur är värd varje krona. Ett besök i maskinrummet glömmer man inte i första taget.

HejFantastisk upplevelse. Här kan du få njuta av gammal fartygs nostalgisk historia. Försök att få tag i någon av de engagerade guiderna som jobbar ombord. Dom kan berätta en massa spännande. Maskinrummet är oslagbart välbevarad.

Perfekt besök under sommarbesök med härlig utsikt!Museet var trevligt och hade em mysig atmosfär och inredning så omgivningen utgavett intryck om att nu befinner man sig på ett fartyg från tidigt 1900-tal.Det var även trevlig bra servicepersonal.Längst ner i båten fanns det en bra lättförståelig utställning om Sankt Erik, andra isbrytare och om vad fartygen hade för funktion under vintern.Det spelades även upp en 15-minuters film från tiden då båten byggdes.Sankt Erik rekommenderas att besökas!
