Claimed money for damage I didn't do. At the end this claim was declined.

We rented a mobile home for a week in april 2023. It was a VW Grand California.The good parts were the engine and automatic gearbox, quite a pleasure to drive. The bed in the back is rather good also but the one above, in the front side, is too near to the ceilling for one to like.The battery and the heating systems (diesel, electric or a mix) are more then enough for the cold nights. The small fridge is good, with capacity for a few meals.The gas cylinders were maybe empty or something, we could not use the stove (something to check when picking up if it is important for you).Also make sure to identify all the fans for heating and get them open (at least one of them was closed and we discovered it the last day of renting)!The extra insurance is not that expensive and it is better to have it as we did, the price of that vehicle is quite steep and so are any damages.When booking online make sure to call them if they do not answer after a few hours, their online booking system is flanky and sends no confirmation emails.The price was reasonable, make sure to check if some of the discount options are applicable to you!
