It is a huge and magnificent cathedral. I enjoyed its grandiose architecture. It is very impressive. There are also runic stones located right by the cathedral. It is definitely worth visiting.

surprisingly beautiful inside! original gothic architecture, who would have guessed by the outside looks. The most beautiful I've seen in Sweden yet. There are relics and art on display. The entrance is free. Really worth a visit!

Simply amazing in every sense!Beautiful architecture inside and out. Really grandiose in terms of size and works of art.Inside you will see gorgeous pipe organ and if you’re lucky enough to hear it you will be speechless for sure.So much history there. A must see if you are visiting Uppsala!

Beautiful and peaceful. One of the most famous places in Uppsala. A must visit if you are in Uppsala. The ticket for the museum costs 50 SEK. There is a small gift shop at the cathedral as well.

Ett måste att besöka denna mäktiga kyrka. Otroligt mycket historia, en liten gift shop samt gravar från många olika kungar och prinsessor från långt bak i tiden.

Beautiful place and awesome Cathedral. Recommend the very cheap guided tour of the treasures, it was quite fascinating with the best jewelled chalice in Sweden.

An astonishing cathedral with outstanding architecture. Definitely the biggest in Sweden. Unfortunately, it was now closed when I arrived. I may visit it another time.

Main church in Uppsala, one of the city landmarks. A magnificent example of Gothic architecture that has stood as a symbol of faith for centuries. As one of the oldest and largest churches in Scandinavia, Uppsala Cathedral boasts a rich history that spans over 700 years, making it a must-visit destination for those interested in Swedish heritage and spirituality. Walking distance from central station, this was my favorite attraction in Uppsala while I was a student there.

I can quite honestly say that this is my favourite cathedral I have ever been to. That is not a sentence I say lightly. The frescos inside are fascinating and there is so much to see and absorb that it is impossible to be bored. They seem to have a lot of events on too.
