STF Teusajaure

Superschöne Hüttenanlage mit ausgesprochen herzlichem Personal auf dem Kungsleden. Bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeit im Haus oder auf sehr schönen Zeltplätzen in der Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswertes Ziel, vor allem wegen der unerlässlichen Bootsüberfahrt über den See.

STF Teusajaure is an STF cabin situated on the northern Kungsleden between Kaitumjaure and Vakkotavare. Its location is one of great beauty, just like most other STF cabins. Views of the Teusa lake and adjacent mountains. Standard accomodation like rooms with bunk beds, an outdoor toilet house, a little shop, a sauna (nice!) and, a little way off, an older model STF cabin. Going north or south of this cabin you start your hike with a serious climb, after which you enter a hilly landscape of virtually treeless terrain, changing from marshland (often overlaid with wooden planks) to boulder fields.

Peninsula, Waterfall, great Lake and some huts in between. This is one of the best places to stay overnight in all southern Lappland.

A great experience staying at this stuga. We stayed in tents, were allowed to use the facilities and had some good stories from the stugvårds.

Sehr idyllische Hütten, freundliche Leute, sehr leckerer geräucherter Fisch. Perfekter Zwischenstopp vor der Bootsüberfahrt.

Beautiful surroundings and a great place to go for a swim

That place is amazing, in front of the lake and behind a mountain. It’s possible to cross the lake rowing and the view is awesome!!
