Aurora Borealis Adventures

Amazing experience with the Aurora borealis adventures team! The owner and guide welcomed us warmly, gave us proper winter gear and instructions on how to mush. The route we took was beauuutiful and in the middle of nowhere. We got back and had a delicious salmon soup In probably one of the most coziest tepees ever. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. Definitely return again the next time I’m around.

It was a wonderfull experience for all the family. The dogs were very friendly, the sights were beutifull and ride was very pleasent. Donald was en excellent guide and a really nice and smart person. The hut experience was unique! It was the best experience we had in Sweden. THANKS

It was the first time for us, that we went dog sledding and it was great. We just had the Rookie Run" and we loved it. It was such a great experience to be in charge of your own dog sled. The Team and the dogs have been fantastic.Afterwards we enjoyed some delicious sandwichs at the fire together with Donald.I highly recommend visiting this place. The Team is awesome and you can see that they love their work and the dogs."

What a great place! We absolutely loved our night under the stars in the teepee. While we were hoping for some northern lights, even though we did not catch them this time, we still really enjoyed our night. Donald is a great host and made us feel at home. If you need a cozy, winter getaway.. this is it!

A wonderful place to stay. We had the opportunity to stay for 7 nights in a cosy guesthouse. In one of those nights we spent 1 night in the tipi surrounded with starlight - just magic! The highlight were the sleddog tours during the day and one night sleddog tour - it was a winterwonderland. Along with the sleddog tours it was an impressive experience to see how wonderful it was to see everyday life with these 47 huskies. We could cuddle them and they loved it. We can highly recommend not to go only for a sleddog tour but also stay some few nights to see how the dogs life is. The owner Donald as well as the dog handler Leata and Arvid do there jobs with enthusiasm and experience.Sylvia, Brigitte und Bige

Ett helt fantastiskt äventyr, det bästa vi gjort på länge. Hundarna är väldit sociala och gosiga och man kände sig så välkommen från första stund av Donald. Turerna vi tgjorde i strålande solsken och ett fantastiskt landskap med otroligt god mat både under dagen och på kvällen. Vi ger detta 10/10 kan varmt rekommendera det och vi lär återkomma igen ;)

We've been to Aurora Borealis Adventures three times now with visitors (we live in Umeå). Each time we've had a very good experience and I would recommend their tours if you are looking for an authentic experience of wintry Sweden! Thanks to Donald, Maria, your staff and of course the dogs!

A really recommendable adventure, 2 days dogsledding with this very sociable Siberian huskies. On top good food during the tour and a chef dinner in the evening. If you like romantic nights, don’t miss one night in Aurora Tipi. Even if there is no Aurora Light during your night, it’s still fantastic. Before you should take a Sauna Bath and cooldown in the snow.

Went for a two day tour, was super fun but cold(-27). The provided clothes helped alot, but a tip is to bring extra socks and undergarments if its -20 or lower.Dinner was amazing and night lodging in the aurora teepees was super cosy. The guides is really friendly.

A business ruled by a dishonest person. There are many dog sleding companies, please don't choose that one.
