Cosy, small island in the great archipelago outside of Stockholm. Ideal to enjoy some calm and relaxed days. We stayed in the small cottage Kockstugan.

The island is beautiful, that's for sure. If you look for a retreat or want to relax (with or without kids), this tiny island is the perfect place. Sunsets, beautiful vegetation, blueberries, canoeing, it's all here.The downside - and the reason for only three out if five stars - is the organization of the place. We rented two apartments, both standalone houses, which were in general okay. The details were, however, it so great. No welcome upon arrival, no explanation where to find what, kitchen equipment was missing (glasses!), broken lightbulbs, broken curtains, broken chairs, generally sloppy electric installations. And it was not dirty, but you would not want to use the extra duvet in the cupboard and you wanted to clean the dishes before first use.If you are used to running a household, you can manage. Be creative and you have a great time. But it seems that management is not in it with the heart, they just let the place run, and run it down.

Sköna sängar, och välsorterat kök om man vill laga egen mat. Även bra grill finns på altanen. Det hade blivit en femma om det inte varit så lyhört.

Beautiful location. Quiet and secluded. Amazing food. Perfect place for a retreat.

No one there in the middle of the winter. Nice fire place and sea view from insikten. Lots of buildings are a bit run down unfortunately.

A relaxing retreat thoughtfully constructed to blend into nature, good food, excellent service people, if you come book the sauna. The Baltic is great for building your brown fat.

Beautiful cottage with views towards the archipelago. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. We stayed in a cozy cottage and loved the experience. The cottage is made out of wood and is integrated with nature nicely. The bed is very comfortable and there's a small kitchen with a microwave where you can cook different types of food. It is an ideal place to get immersed in nature and experience the wonderful Stockholm archipelago. It is surrounded by nearby islands, sea and trees all around. The landscape is really beautiful!
