Way back in 1998, I lucked out and was selected to attend the first seminar on environmental journalism for journos from the Third World. It was a really good learning experience. Lasse and Bitte, the two veteran journos conducting the course, were most helpful. We encountered Kalmar and Stockholm, and a few other places in Sweden like Linköping. We got a chance to access high-speed internet (yes, it was a luxury then). And, of course, we learnt about environmental reporting.An electronic mailing list I set up following this experience (IndiaEJ) is still active. Thanks for giving this opportunity!
