Niggbyholm is well know globally as the Compton of the northern Stockholm suburbs. Similar to NWA, the wigger rap group SSB, Små Störda Barn (not to be confused with the less gangsta Swedish group Mobbade Barn med Automatvapen) put Niggbyholm on the map of global hiphop music. The basketball court has always been considered the heart of Niggbyholm, and was in the years of 2002-2006 in the center of an areal dispute between SSB and DJ Ove, who at that time was considered to be the tightest MC in the north western part of Niggbyholm. During the years of 2005-2010 local media in Täby (especially the very prominent Viggbyholm Daily) covered a big dispute between the Hiphop crews and the senior citizens, making the dispute one of the biggest turf wars in Täby history. Around 2010 most hiphop crews moved out of Niggbyholm, leaving Casa P as the sole representative of modern day Hiphop in the area. Today the senior citizens control the region, but it's still open to the public. The most popular venue is Pizzeria Venezia, which is the one last venue to be considered autonomous and under the control of SSB through Casa P.
