I have spent roughly half of my life in Portugal, and since I am not Portuguese I have applied for quite a lot of Visas to travel to Portugal and I have never been treated as bad as the woman who works at the Portuguese Embassy in Stockholm. Even on our first contact by phone she was just plain rude. I happened to have lost my residence card for Portugal outside while I was in Sweden and she kept on screaming on my ear that I couldn't do that, as if I would lose my residence card on purpose. Besides that, she went further on making my process of obtaining the visa as hard as possible which included influencing her boss by email. Later when her boss emailed me, her email to him came accidentally forwarded". I am sorry for anyone that will ever have to deal with this person regarding obtaining a Visa to Portugal."

Very bad as a portuguese... the only girl that was working there told me that she was available for an appointment the 27 of june and today is 16 of may... and I went there and that place was completely alone no workers... no people... and the treatment way less than a star...

I've had to deal with the consulate section for various matters and can say that the service has been fantastic. Most especially one member of staff (lady) has always been extremely helpful and kind. They prefer that people email instead of phoning and I guess that's related to them being very busy and the services being understaffed. There are some negative reviews on here, but I can only speak from personal experience. Carry on the great work!!

Telefonei para a embaixada no passado dia 7 de Janeiro de 2019 a solicitar informações acerca de como arranjar emprego na Suécia, em Estocolmo, ao que me recomendaram enviar mail a pedir as mesmas.Assim o fiz, pelo que me responderam detalhadamente não só com uma lista de sites de recrutamento para empresas suecas, bem como páginas de facebook relacionada com outros portugueses igualmente emigrados na Suécia e ainda elucidaram acerca de todo o processo inerente sobre como se registar na Suécia enquanto português.Muito rápidos, práticos e eficazes no trabalho desenvolvido.Grato pela V/ excelência. Espero continuarem com o excelente trabalho.

As a portuguese citizen who has been living in serval countries I jist can tell the worst treatment that I had so far!!!specially mrs liliana has an atitude that reminds me of the early 60 70's back in that old days were a persons need really dont matter. Eventhough being an european and blaming that iam illegal in sweden and always with an stupid answer on the lips. Not really necessarly you feel like being trated as a person 3rd class. The young gentleman always tries the his best but I would think twice if you really need to go there! Muito obrigado por a sua atitude senhora liliana!na proxima vez que voce aponta o dedo a uma pessoa deve pensar duas vezes o que voce esta a falar que nenhuma pessoa neste mundp é ilegal em um pais. Especial da união europea. Alias as boquinhas tambem nao sao propiamente para um consulado voce nao é mais do que qualquer ser humano aprende lidar com pessoas eu não volto a por um pě neste lugar

We needed to go to the embassy to apply for a visa for Portugal and Diogo Marto was very patient and helped us organize our visa application paperwork! I wish everyone who works dealing with people was as patient and helpful as he is!
