According to the Head of Department (Avdelningschef), if you are seen by a doctor/nurse and have not received adequate help, the patient cannot receive a refund for this. In my case, the Health care center (Vårdcentralen) had booked me an appointment with a doctor who could not help with my case as I was given the wrong doctor in the first place, despite prior phone conversations and arrangements with 2 of their departments to ensure that I was assigned to the right doctor. Therefore, the doctor which I was wrongly assigned to of course could not help me (and as said and done so by herself) had to book me another appointment with the correct doctor. On my complaint to this with the receptionist and from there with the Regional Patient's Board (Landsting Patientnämnden) with supporting evidence (proof of this already in their systems) my case was dismissed with no refund given.Unfair and unprofessional. They really need to improve on their services and on their ability to make a professional judgment in handling a person's case. As my evidence, which stood strongly against a doctor's word, was still considered invalid by them.
