Hemtex

I visited Hemtex on the 08. December 2018 to buy Christmas presents and was *disappointed* by the service.I told the staff that I planned to enrol as a member to benefit from their 25% membership price reduction + a bundle price reduction for buying towels. This would have saved up approximately 400SEK. I then asked another staff member to confirm that I would benefit from this price reduction - which she did not deny. After signing up with my Personennummer and bringing all products to the checkout I realise that the price reduction is not counted in. The same staff only now tells me that the price reductions do not add up.I left the store feeling tricked. Hemtex now has my Personennummer and I saved exacly 5 SEK in return when compared to the price for just using the bundle price reduction.This is not how an honest customer service should act. I am disappointed.

I tried to buy an expensive bedspread. They said it would come in a few days and I had to pay in advance. I reminded them after a week or so that nothing had come. Now it is five weeks and nothing has come and apparently only yesterday they started to investigate. The also wanted me to email the company selling the bedspread. Never pay in advance to this company.

Bought duvets and towels there. The duvets are really uncomfortable and overall it was unnecessarily too expensive (specially for a student city).

It is easy to find as it is located in the city center and has a nice display of goods towards one of the central squares. The personnel is nice and helpful. There are offers and promotions all the time on different kinds of goods.
