industrial port, easy walk to town 45 minute ride by coach to Stockholm.

While I could shout loudly at Carnival for advertising this as Stockholm, and you do lose a little exploring time in Stockholm if you end up here, to be honest it's nice to see some of the suburbs and outside of the mass tourist areas as well. The port itself is well run and well connected by frequent and quick local train to the city (under an hour). The immediate vicinity is nice also, and a very neat touch is the painted lines from the port terminal to the train station leaving no doubt as to how to find your way. Very helpful.

Good location for big ships. Strange floating pier... A 45 non ride by bus to the main city of Stockholm

The port is quite a ways from Stockholm but there are HOHO feeder busses conveniently located at the end of the dock when cruise ships are there.
